What is Ripit?

Written by Support

What does Ripit actually do?

Ripit is a collectible platform where you can buy and open digital packs that represent real, physical graded slabs. One pack = one slab. The slabs you pull are real cards graded by PSA (or other grading companies) and stored in Ripit’s PSA vault on your behalf. From there, you decide whether to keep the slab in the vault/your collection, sell it back to Ripit, or have the slab shipped to you.

What is a slab?

A slab is a trading card professionally graded and sealed in a hard plastic case by PSA (Professional Sports Authenticator) or another grading company.

What is the vault?

Ripit has a vault at PSA that stores all slabs ripped on the platform. When you decide to vault your slab, it's physically held in Ripit’s PSA vault on your behalf, with no storage fees. You can view your vaulted slabs and decide if you want to sell or ship at any time.

Is Ripit open to everyone?

Ripit is in early access and available to U.S. residents 18 years or older.

Do I need an account to use Ripit?

You'll need to create an account and complete identity verification before you can rip packs.
